Take Me Out To The Ball Game

On Friday we joined the Terrones Family for a night at the ball park.  The UNLV baseball games are fun & not super crowded which is perfect with all the kids.  We enjoyed the fresh air, a few ball park hot dogs & good friends!

Thanks Carrie for the delicious apricot bread, Connor could not get enough!

Whatcha doing down there Audrey?

Connor loved talking to Audrey & Carrie...next time we might watch more of the game :)

Date night at the ball park!
Once the kids got antsy in the stadium we pulled out the blanket on the grassy area outside & let them crawled around.

Fun In The Sun!

We had a great evening at the pool with the Terrones Family this past weekend.  Connor loves the water and he got to show off his new swim suit, not to mention he loves spending time with his girlfriend, Audrey.

Look at the stud muffin :)

Relaxing in the shade post pool time.

Audrey is the older women and like to show Connor who's boss!

After the pool it was bath time for both Audrey & Connor....we told Connor he better enjoy this time, he won't get to bathe with Audrey much longer :)

Thanks Carrie for the cute bath photos!

Happy 10 Month Birthday!!

Happy 10-Month Birthday Connor!
Another month is in the books and Connor is just growing like a weed.  Connor is certainly keeping us on our toes.  He is constantly thinking, analyzing and moving!  Lucky for us we can generally see what he is thinking before he gets to far.  He now has 3 & 1/2 teeth with two more ready to break through on the top.  Teething has not been any fun this month & even caused a double ear infection, but lucky for us he seems to be feeling much better.  We are also hearing lots of Mama & Dada...the sweetest words in the world!  We just love to hear him talk & babble!  We are working on waiving & blowing kisses goodbye...maybe next month we will have the down :)

When we went to take Connor's 10-Month photos he figured out the 10-Month sticker was just that, a sticker, and that he could pull it off & it became a fun new toy.  He was very interested in the sticker.  Dad thought it would be funny to stick it on his forehead...we did giggle a minute, I mean how cute does he look!  That is also why in the photos below the sticker ended up on his back!

Look, No Hands!!!
Connor is starting to balance on his own & we actually managed to capture it on camera today!! He is getting much quicker at cruising around the furniture & if he is not paying to much attention will stand next to the couch or his excersaucer and play with two toys in his hands, balancing all by himself.   He even has taken one step to move from one toy to the next.  I have a feeling we are getting very close to walking!

Dad Look at Me!!

Oh my goodness!!!  Such a big boy!!

Happy 10-Months Connor!!

Hello Napa & San Francisco

This past weekend Blair & I joined our very good friends John & Dalisa Cooper for a long "adults only" weekend in Northern California.  GMa Shiplett flew in to watch Connor and we were off for our first multi-day trip away from our little bug.  We had a fantastic time!  I will say I was very out of practice for our day in Napa wine tasting...a few champagne tastings and I was not feeling much pain and by the end of the day it was not super pretty, but fun none the less.  I should have known better...I have not had more than a glass of wine in almost two years!
We hired a designated driver for the day - love riding in style!

First stop Chandon for some sparkling wine, my weakness!

 Napa is beautiful!

Jose at Goose Cross...the picture is a little fuzzy and so was I by this point!

After one night in Napa, we headed back to the city to spend the weekend in San Francisco.  It was the first time Blair & I have really spent much time exploring the city & we could not have had better tour guides than John & Dalisa.  We walked all over the city & loved every minute.

What a great view of the city & the Golden Gate Bridge!

Walking through China Town, first time we have ever been to China Town...loved it!

The trolley was out of order...but it was a perfect chance to get a photo!

We spent Saturday down on the Piers & of course we had to see the Sea Lions!

We headed out to Alcatraz Saturday afternoon...such a cool experience.  We took the walking tour of the Cell House and walked the grounds a bit.
 Hi John & Dalisa!

Inside the Cell House at Alcatraz...the stories of the inmates are just crazy.

After Alcatraz we headed to The Stinking Rose, a delicious restaurant the specializes in garlic.  Yum Yum Yum is all I can say, we even had garlic ice cream.

 Cheers!

Our last day we enjoyed walking around Union Square and a little lunch at the Burger Bar...not a bad view.

We had such a great time & GMa took such wonderful care of Connor while we gone.  Although we missed our bug terribly, she kept us update with some fun photos and we did enjoy some adult time :)

Welcome home Mom & Dad...we missed you :)
